Jersey injures toe during super catch through bullpen door

New York Yankees Aaron Judge has been removed from the starting lineup.

Judge is out of the starting lineup for today’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

He’s not just resting, he’s injured. According to the AP, he injured the big toe on his right foot.

This is the aftermath of the hailstorm the day before. Playing right field against the same team in the same park the day before, he chased down a line drive hit by J.D. Martinez while playing defense in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Unable to overcome inertia, he threw himself into the fence, which happened to be the entrance to the visiting bullpen at Dodger Stadium, and the impact caused the door to open and he fell into the bullpen.

He got back up and played the rest of the 메이저사이트 game, but it was later revealed that he had stubbed his toe in the incident. He hit his foot on the threshold of the bullpen doorway.

“He was pretty sore last night and it carried over into this morning,” manager Aaron Boone said. He’s moving around a little bit better today,” Boone said.

Boone said he hopes the Dodgers, or at least Major League Baseball, will add protection to the bullpen doorway where Judge injured his foot.

For now, Boone is out of the game, but he doesn’t have to worry about being placed on the disabled list. The Yankees will return to New York after tonight’s game, and after a day off, will open a three-game home stand against the Chicago White Sox.
