2023 Professional Volleyball Cup to be held in Gumi in July and August

The Korea Volleyball Organization (KOVO) has signed an agreement with Gumi City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, to host the 2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament.

“Today, we held an agreement ceremony at Gumi City Hall to host the Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Competition,” KOVO said on July 24. 안전놀이터 “Through this agreement, Gumi City will provide various support such as administrative work, including the rental of Park Jung-hee Gymnasium, and promotion to attract spectators, and we will cooperate with each other for the successful operation of the competition.”

The 2023 Cup will be held from July 29-August 5 (women) and August 6-13 (men).

Gumi City was home to KB Insurance’s predecessor, LIG Insurance, from 2005 to 2017.

The decision to host this year’s Cup will mark the first time in six years and four months that Gumi will host a professional volleyball event since March 2017.
